Community Theater: August 2022

The Genesis Collective presented its inaugural Community Theatre Project, "Our Story: A Play for Beaver County Voices," on August 20, 2022, at the Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center.

This production uniquely featured characters and dialogue drawn from real oral history interviews with Beaver County residents. The four-act play addressed significant local issues, including food insecurity, homelessness, human trafficking, and the experiences surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.

Performed by local actors and directed by Patti Ross, with Kevin Farkas as writer and technical director, "Our Story" aimed to authentically showcase the diverse voices and stories within Beaver County.
